Keonjhar: Unknown miscreants opened fire at three persons and later decamped with two motor-cycles on Duburi-Naranpur road in Keonjhar district on Friday night.
Sources said when one Jiten Singh Deo of Chaibasa in neighbouring Jharkhand district and his two friends were travelling on two motor-cycles, six miscreants came in two bikes and opened fire at them. However, the trio managed to flee from the spot leaving the bikes on the spot though Jiten sustained serious injuries. Later, the miscreants decamped with the bikes.
Being informed, the Brahmanipal police reached the spot and sent Jiten to Keonjhar district headquarters hospital (DHH). He was later sent to the SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.
