Miscreants loot cash from hotel in Balasore

Balasore: Seven unidentified miscreants looted cash worth lakhs of rupees from a hotel near Khandapada Police Station in the district on Sunday.

As per reports, the miscreants had visited the hotel as customers late on Sunday night. Later, they engaged in a brawl with the hotel staff over bill payment. The situation turned ugly when they allegedly vandalised the hotel and fled the spot after looting cash.

A staff of the hotel was injured in the brawl and admitted to hospital.

A case has been registered in this connection with the Khandapada Police Station.

"Investigation into the incident is on. The miscreants will be caught soon," said a police official.
