Miscreants loot ATM in Balasore using gas cutter

Balasore: A State Bank ATM was allegedly looted by miscreants near medical area of Bahanaga block of Balasore district on Sunday night.

According to reports, keeping in view to the need of its customers on festive day- Christmas, lakh of rupees was deposited in the ATM machine.

As per sources, miscreants allegedly used a gas cutter for the ATM heist and looted it.

Meanwhile, Soro police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the matter.

Similarly, on Dec 11 of this month, miscreants allegedly looted money from an Indicash ATM in Nilagiri area of Balasore district. The miscreants decamped with Rs 20,000 and various other items from a grocery and a betel shop in the area.
