Miscreants hurl bomb in Sambalpur, 2 injured

Sambalpur: Some unidentified miscreants hurled bomb on two bike-borne youth on Saturday near Gadgadbahal under Jujumara police limits in the district injuring the duo.

The two youths, identified as Bihari Biswal of Keshapali panchayat and Sushant Barik of Bhabanipali, are undergoing treatment at Sadar hospital in the district.

"Two persons on an Avenger motorcycle came to us and asked why we lodged an FIR against them. Then they threw a bomb and fled away," said Barik.

"Biswal has received burn injuries on his chest, leg and face. We suspect it as gunpowder injuries," said the attending doctor at the hospital.
