Cuttack: A 12-year-old boy was critically injured after a bullet was fired áccidentally' from the service revolver of a BSF jawan at High Court colony under Badambadi police limits here on Saturday.
The injured Anubhav Mohanty, son of Prabir Mohanty of Kamalpur, has sustained bullet injury on the head and has been admitted to a private hospital in the city, police said.
Senior officials informed that the incident occurred at around 12 noon when Anubhav was playing with the weapon of his friend Piyush Patra's father Susant Patra.
Though the exact reason behind how the minor boys got the revolver without anybody noticing them is still unclear, police has started a probe in connection with the incident.
