Soro: In a tragic incident, a minor boy died today and two others including the deceased’s father were critically injured in a road mishap near Balanga Chhak under Soro block in Balasore district this morning.
The mishap victim, identified as Arun and son of Arada resident Chakradhara Jena, died on the spot whereas Chakradhara and his another son Barun sustained critical injuries.
The injured duo were rushed to the Balasore district headquarters hospital and later shifted to the SCB hospital as their condition deteriorated.

The road mishap occurred when Arun along with his father and brother going towards Soro in a newly bought motorcycle were hit head-on by a vegetable-laden pick up van coming from the opposite direction near the Balanga Chhak.
