Met issues lightning warning in 16 districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological department today forecast thunderstorm and lightning for 16 districts of the State and issued warning for these districts.

It cautioned the people of 16 districts to stay indoors or take shelter at safe locations till 4.30pm.

The districts for which the lightning warning was issued are: Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Khurda, Deogarh, Cuttack, Puri, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Sundargarh and Angul.
