Rourkela: A married woman in her thirties was allegedly gang raped by four men when she was alone at her home in Sector 7 in Rourkela on Sunday.
While two persons have already been nabbed, two others are absconding, informed police.
The incident took place around midnight when taking advantage of her husband’s absence; the four men broke into the house and raped the woman. The woman was physically assaulted too, reports said.
On reaching home this morning, the husband found the woman in a critical condition and rushed her to hospital. Her condition continues to be serious, doctors informed.
“The accused men must have planned the crime after coming to know that the husband was away,” a neighbour said.
Meanwhile the police investigating the case informed that efforts are on to nab the two absconding accused.
