Maoists torch kendu leaf godown in Bargarh

Bargarh: Panic gripped Bargarh district after a group of armed Maoists set fire to a kendu leaf godown at Gourapali village of Lakhanpur panchayat under Ambabhona block in the wee hours on Monday.

Following information, police rushed to the village and seized some Maoist posters from near the godown area.

In the posters, the Red Rebels have warned that they would not spare the local BDO and Sarpanch for indulging in corruption in the construction of houses under the Indira Awas Yojana and roads.
