Man kills wife, son; buries bodies inside house

Bhadrak: In a gruesome incident, a man allegedly strangulated his wife and nine-month-old son to death over a family feud at Majhi Sahi under Dhusuri police station in Bhadrak district a few days ago.  

What is more shocking is that the accused man, after killing the two, buried the bodies in his house. Locals informed the police after detecting foul smell emanating from the house.

Acting on the complaint, police reached the spot and began investigation into the incident. The dead bodies would be exhumed from the ground in the presence of the Magistrate today.

Meanwhile, the accused has confessed to the crime. "I killed both of them in a fit of rage and later buried them in the house," he said.        

Sources said the man killed his wife and son over a family dispute on February 24. Police said investigation is on and the accused being interrogated.
