Man kills brother-in-law over family dispute in Cuttack

Cuttack: A resident of Tulsipur Matha Sahi was murdered by his brother-in-law following an altercation over some family dispute on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Bulu Biswal.

As per reports, Bulu & his brother-in-law engaged in a heated exchange of words in the morning today following which the former was stabbed by the accused.

A critically injured Bulu was rushed to a private hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

"My husband was washing his vehicle, when my brother came and without any reason stabbed him with a sharp weapon. Both my brother and mother are involved in the murder," wife of the deceased said.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard with Bidanasi police.

"The accused is currently absconding. Our investigation is on and we will nab the culprit soon," said a police official.
