Man hacked to death in Kendrapara

Kendrapara: A 54-year-old man was hacked to death at Kalamala village in Kendrapara district, the police said today.

Radheshyam Biswal, a native of nearby Tunga village, who was riding a motorbike, succumbed to his injuries before he could be hospitalised yesterday, the police said.

The accused have been identified and a manhunt was launched.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim and his assailants had a feud over lending money, Inspector of Aul police station Maheswar Sethy said.
