Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area which has formed over south-east Bay of Bengal is likely to trigger rainfall in several parts of Odisha, bringing people relief from the scorching heat, officials said on Friday.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the low pressure is likely to concentrate into a depression during the next 36 hours and intensify further during the subsequent 24 hours.
