Land dispute: 10 injured in violent clash between 3 families

Cuttack: Tension prevailed at Jobra area following a clash between members of three families over land dispute at Chunabhati square under Malgodown police limits in Cuttack yesterday.

At least 10 persons were injured after bricks and glass bottles were hurled by either group during the incident.

The situation was brought under control after senior officials Malgodown police reached the spot. Thirteen people have been arrested in connection with the case.

"There was a clash between members of three families over construction of a house yesterday night. While three separate cases have been registered in connection with the incident, 13 people have been forwarded to the court," Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police, Akhileshwar Singh said.
