KV, Navodaya, tech institute teachers join +2 evaluation

Bhubaneswar: With the evaluation of annual Plus Two answer scripts being seriously hampered for the last five days due to the ongoing strike by the teachers and staffs of 448 and 662 categories of non-government and aided colleges in the state, the Odisha government on Saturday engaged teachers of Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, technical institutes and others having Post Graduate degrees (M Sc) with one year of teaching experience in the evaluation.

“As per our request evaluation of annual Plus Two papers has begun today by the teachers of Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, technical institutes and others having Post Graduate degrees (M Sc) with one year of teaching experience. These teachers have joined the evaluation in the evaluation centres allotted to them. The concerned supervisors of the evaluation centre have given them the entry pass. For smooth evaluation, these teachers have been provided with model answer for each question," Dr Basudeb Chhatoi, chairperson of Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), told the media.
