Bhubaneswar: Targeting the state government for failing to take action in the Kunduli gang rape incident in which the victim committed suicide on Monday, the BJP today kicked off a ‘funeral rally (Kokei Sobhajatra)’ from Bhubaneswar and warned the ruling dispensation that the people of the State will overthrow the government for its utter neglect and disregard.

President of BJP Odisha unit’s Mahila Morcha, Pravati Parida said even though innocent women are being tortured, the state government is unaware. "After failing to get justice, Kunduli gang rape victim was forced to commit suicide after 100 days of suffering. If the state government does not wake up now then people of Odisha will decide what to do with the government," she said.
