Bhubaneswar: As part of the investigation into the Koraput gang rape incident, lie detection test of one of the suspects is being conducted at the Bhubaneswar Forensic Laboratory here today.
Meanwhile, DGP RP Sharma said the investigation has progressed and the suspects are being interrogated. He further said that no information on the alleged involvement of security personnel and Maoists in the case has been received as yet.
"Alleged involvement of security personnel and Maoists has not been established yet. Since we are investigating the case from all angles, we have obtained certain leads," said Sharma. He further said that lie detection test of all suspects who are frequently changing their statements will be conducted, if required.
"The probe will further progress once we get more information in this connection," Sharma added.
