Khurda: Vigilance sleuths on Friday conducted simultaneous raids at five places including the houses of Khurda Forest department ACF Sudhanshu Sekhar Sahoo on charges of amassing protesting disproportionate to his know source of income.
Divided in different teams, the anti corruption wing of Odisha police raided the ancestral house of Sahoo at Begunia, his in-laws house at Nandapur in Khurda and his two houses in Khandagiri and Unit-6 in Bhubaneswar.
Besides, raid is also being conducted at the office of Sahoo, sources in Vigilance said.

During the search, the anti-corruption officials unearthed Sahoo’s huge disproportionate assets.
The immovable assets of Sahoo include one double storied building constructed over Plot No.252, Chhotraypur, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar (Rs 57,42,604) while the movable assets are deposit in different banks (Rs 3,02,047), payment of installment in 14 LIC and other policies (Rs 24,54,162), one Tata Indigo CS Car bearing registration no- OR-02-BU-848 (Rs 5,20,000), one Hero Honda Pleasure Scooty bearing registration no-OR-02-AK-2584 (Rs 40,000), one Hero Honda Passion Plus bike bearing registration no- OR-02-BG-7123 (Rs 49,000), hard cash Rs 1,94,536, cost of household articles Rs 6,72,639, cost of gold ornaments Rs 5,62,500.
The total assets of Sahoo has been calculated as Rs 1,05,37,488 so far, the Vigilance sources said, adding that the raids were still continuing.
