Keonjhar: In a shocking incident three persons were arrested including a minor for gang raping a 12-year-old girl. The incident occurred in Ghatagaon area yesterday night when the survivor was at a village function (Badi Pala) and the accused abducted her and allegedly committed the crime.

According to sources, the three accused were arrested after a complaint was lodged by the survivor’s family. The three accused have been sent for medical examination while a police team has been inquiring into the age of the minor from his family, said sources.
“While the survivor was returning from the village function, 3 persons took her to the nearby forest and gang raped her. After the survivor reported at the Ghatagaon PS the 3 accused were arrested immediately following orders from SP,” said DSP Harish Chandra Pandey.
