Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award for Gayatri Saraf, Suryamani Khuntia

Bhubaneswar: Two Odia litterateurs Gayatri Saraf and Suryamani Khuntia have been selected to receive the prestigious Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award for the current year.

Saraf's short story collection 'Itabhatira Silpi' and Khuntia’s translation work ‘Juganta’ have been highly appreciated for the coveted literary award. Khuntia has translated Marathi book 'Jugantara' into Odia.

Among other literary works of Gayatri, 'Anahata Parampara', 'Alokita Andhara', 'Barshara Odhana Tale', 'Nila Janha ra Jui' and 'Aaina Ra Janha' have also been praised by readers.
