Two-year old Kasi Madkami of Korakonda succumbed to the vector borne disease while undergoing treatment at district headquarters hospital today. Three more kids are also currently in the ICU of the hospital in critical condition while around 15 others are being treated in general ward.

All efforts of district administration and State government seem to have less impact as the toll continues to rise by the day. On the other hand, the survey of kids from six month to 15 years will be completed today. The survey has been carried out for vaccination to arrest the outbreak of the killer virus.
