Bhubaneswar: After five days of respite from gruelling heat and humidity due to widespread rainfall in most parts of Odisha as a result of Cyclone Roanu, temperature again rose alarmingly in the state, especially in the western Odisha, today with temperature going beyond 40 degree Celsius in 13 places.

Talking to OTV, Mamata Yadav, Director-in-charge, Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, said clear sky conditions in the morning hours has helped in the rise in temperature in Western Odisha.
