I-T raid on well-known jewellery showroom in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Income Tax officials today raided a well-known jewellery showroom at its 11 branch showrooms in the country including Bhubaneswar and Berhampur.

Reports said the raid has been conducted following allegation of tax evasion and black money transaction.

Among other places, the Income Tax officials have raided the showrooms in Kolkata, Vishakhapatnam and Mumbai.

Verification of stock and other documents are underway during the raid, the reports added.
