I aim for Odisha's development: Jay Panda

Bhubaneswar: Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda today said where he contests elections from in future will depend on the party and the public. He reiterated his stand about contesting elections from Sambalpur through a series of tweets after his visit to the town.

In response to a question posed to him during his Sambalpur visit on Saturday, the MP tweeted that he aims for and works towards the development of entire Odisha.

He also thanked the people of Kendrapara for their love and affection and wrote that he is proud to represent them in the Lok Sabha.

"Let us not discuss the political angle. This is my mother's place, I've always received enormous affection here & if i get an opportunity, i would like to do whatever i can to serve the interests & people of Sambalpur," Panda tweeted referring to Sambalpur.

During a felicitation ceremony at Sambalpur Press Club, he was asked by mediapersons if he would ever contest elections from Sambalpur, to which he replied that if given a chance, he will return the favour by serving the people of the region.
