Heat wave to intensify in coastal Odisha in next 72 hours

Bhubaneswar: While the intense heat wave condition continues in interior Odisha with Titlagarh being the hottest place at 46.3 degree Celsius on Sunday, the local Met office has predicted that the temperature is likely to go up alarmingly in the coastal districts in next three days.

Bhubaneswar: While the intense heat wave condition continues in interior Odisha with Titlagarh being the hottest place at 46.3 degree Celsius on Sunday, the local Met office has predicted that the temperature is likely to go up alarmingly in the coastal districts in next three days.

Talking to OTV, Director, Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, Dr Sarat Chandra Sahu said two cyclonic circulations have formed this morning in the eastern and north-east regions of which one has formed at a height of 900 metres over Bihar and adjoining Jharkhand and West Bengal and the other at a height of 1.5 km over Assam and its adjoining areas.
