Bhubaneswar: The hearing on the bail petition of SUM hospital owner Manoj Nayak, who is currently lodged at the Jharpada jail, will be heard today.
The Khordha SDJM court will hear the bail plea today.
On Monday, the Commissionerate police interrogated vice-chancellor of the SOA University Amit Banerjee for around two hours. Besides, the cops had also verified documents regarding registration of SUM hospital at the office of the Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET).
Meanwhile, the death in the hospital fire mishap reached 27 on Monday with the death of another patient at the AMRI Hospital.
