Health Supervisor caught taking bribe

Kendrapara: Marsaghai health Supervisor Prabin Grahacharya of Kendrapara district was caught red handed by Vigilance officials while demanding and accepting bribe today.

As per complainant Pratap Barik of Daanra village, Grahacharya demanded Rs 1000 from him to change his daughter’s name in birth. The complainant had appealed the health supervisor for the name change in 2015. But Grahacharya demanded the bribe. Finding no other option, Barik reported the matter to Vigilance.

Later, a trap was laid and Grahacharya was caught red-handed by the vigilance team, said Jajpur Vigilance DSP Sishir Kumar Bhoi.
