Kolkata/Bhubaneswar: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today conveyed her good wishes to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
In a tweet posted early today, Banerjee said, "Thank you Naveenji...good wishes from @AITCofficial...Happy we met.
Glad you are looking very well and in good heath."
A section of the media had reported that Patnaik was ill and planning to go abroad for treatment. However, Patnaik had rejected the reports and said that he was in good health and not going anywhere for treatment.
Patnaik had earlier tweeted "Always happy to be at Parliament & see @bjd_Odisha MPs for follow-up of #Odisha's interests; glad to meet @Mamataofficial in Central Hall.
The chief ministers of the two non-BJP-ruled states had a meeting in Parliament on April 10.
Both chief ministers want a Bihar Grand Alliance-like front against the BJP in view of the saffron party's strong showing in the recently-held panchayat election in Odisha and determined push in West Bengal.
