Bhubaneswar: Condemning the controversial remark against first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, the activists of Odisha Youth Congress today protested union minister Giriraj Singh by showing black flag while he was returning from a programme here.
“BJP-led Central government is absconding in the country. We condemned the way BJP government detained Rahul Gandhi in Delhi," Youth Congress leader Loknath Maharathy said.
The Congress will intensify the stir if the BJP leaders continue to give such remarks. No central ministers will be allowed to enter Odisha further, he cautioned.
Notably, Union minister of state for MSME on Friday blamed "the faulty policies" of Jawaharlal Nehru for people not being skilled in the country.
"The policies of Nehru were wrong. These could not make us skilled. The policies only made us educated," Singh had told media persons here.
The Minister was in the capital city to inaugurate a national conference on "Youth and Employment: The role of skill India Initiative".
