Four youths killed in bike-van collision

Bargarh: In a deadly road accident four youths were killed in a bike-van collision at Baijapada on Bargarh Barpali-Bolangir road. One more youth has also been seriously injured in the accident.

According to sources, the incident occurred when three youths were going from Barapali on a bike. While on their way, they collided head-on with a pick-up van coming from the opposite direction. All the three youths died on the spot along with the helper of the pick-up van.

The driver who was seriously injured in the accident has been shifted to hospital.

The accident triggered tension in the locality, as angry locals staged a road blockade on Barapali-Bolangir road demanding compensation to the kin of the victims.
