Bhubaneswar: Tightening its noose around SUM hospital for violating fire safety norms and operating without valid licence that led to the loss of 24 lives, the Odisha government on Friday de-empanelled the health care unit from the list of referral hospitals.

Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET) issued a notification in this regard this afternoon.
