Bhubaneswar: Continuing its effort to curb land mafia and land frauds, the Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of Odisha Crime Branch on Sunday arrested a person for allegedly duping investors in Odisha.
It was informed by special DG (Crime Branch) BK Sharma through his tweeter account. "Special Director General of Police (Crime Branch) B.K. Sharma in a tweet said, "EOW of #OdishaCrimeBranch arrested Santosh Kumar Jena from Khandgiri area of Bhubaneswar. Accused of duping investors in providing land", he tweeted.
Jena is the Managing director of Ms Creative Assets Developers Pvt Ltd, which had cheated over 150 depositors, Sharma mentioned in his microblogging site. "Santosh Jena's company Ms Creative Assets Developers Pvt Ltd had cheated over 150 depositors who were promised plotted land", he tweeted.
