Cuttack: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Friday attached properties to the tune of Rs 8.82 crore of four key associates of gangster brothers—Sushil and Sushant Dhal Samant.
Official sources said the properties of Bharat Bhusan Swain, Siba Gocchi, Krushna Chandra Das and Sangramjit Nath who were earlier arrested for their links with gangster brothers, have been attached.
Earlier in March, the officials of the ED had conducted raids on the houses of several associates and business partners of Dhal Samant brothers in Cuttack.
Sources said that the properties of few other accused including businessmen are under ED scanner.
Dhal Samant brothers were arrested after a special operation launched by Commissionerate police in January, 2016. A huge cache of arms and ammunition, cash and other luxury items were recovered from their hideout in Bhubaneswar and residence in Cuttack.
