Cuttack/Rourkela/Balasore: There was a unique combination of patriotism and spiritualism during the puja celebration in cities of Odisha. This combination was found at many pandals in towns like Cuttack, Balasore and Rourkela, which has attracted eyeballs of many revellers.
While the tension continues on the border after Uri terror attack and India's surgical strike, the similar theme containing patriotism was found at many pandals.
Take the example of Cuttack’s Khan Nagar where the pandal was decorated with the theme of LoC. A war tanker with soldiers keeping vigil on the border was presented in the Pandal. Attracted by the design, the visitors did not miss the chance to click selfie with the scene.
Similarly, the surgical strike scene was presented at No 1 Pandal of Rourkela. The visitors were spell bound at the scene of drone keeping a close watch on the movement of enemy at border.
In Balasore, various troupes prepared to perform on the theme of Uri attack and surgical strike. As many as 21 groups have presented their performance with touch of patriotism at Cinema square in the town.
