Jajpur: Three persons, including a doctor, were killed after the car they were travelling in was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Bandalo village under Badachana police limits in Jajpur district late on Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as Paresh Mohapatra, a doctor of Cuttack City Hospital and a pharmacist.
As per sources, the incident took place when they were returning to Cuttack after attending a feast at Bhograi in Balasore district. All three of them died on the spot.
Meanwhile, Badachana police have sent the bodies for post mortem and a case of unnatural death has been registered in connection with the incident.
