Malkangiri: While the Japanese Encephalitis has taken an epidemic proportion in Malkangiri district, now dengue is back to haunt the people in the district.

Report said as many as 20 patients, mostly children, at the district headquarters hospital (DHH) have been tested positive for the dengue virus. The reports have been received in between October 11 and November 3.

Odisha Health Services Director Dr Chittaranjan Nayak said since January, only three person in Malkangiri have so far been affected by dengue.
