Decibelz: ‘War of Bands’ steals show at XIMB’s Xpressions-2017

Bhubaneswar: After an interesting first day of the annual extravaganza of Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB) - Xpressions-2017, day 2 was equally exciting and entertaining. The major attraction of the day was music bands from various parts of the country battling it out against each other in the competition - ‘Decibelz- War of Bands’.

The musicians performed various popular Hindi and English songs along with their own compositions at the centre field of XIMB. Huge crowd gathered at the venue and they were enthralled by some powerful and melodious music.

Day 2 of Xpressions also included other business and cultural events like ‘Paint it Up’, ‘Pratibimb’, ‘Inquizzitive’, ‘Maxim Mela’ and ‘RJ Hunt’.

"Second day was really good. The turn up was great. We organised a few of the gaming events today. Students from various institutions in Bhubaneswar and other cities participated in good numbers in all the events," said student Rajiv Nanda.

The three-day annual event of XIMB that began on Friday morning will conclude on Sunday night after a special show 'Farhan Live' which will feature performances by Bollywood actor, director & singer Farhan Akhtar.
