Bhubaneswar: In view of the cyclone Kyant which now lies near Myanmar and has re-curved North Bay of Bengal, chief minister Naveen Patnaik has called an emergency meeting tomorrow to review the preparedness to ward off any possible eventuality even as the IMD has not confirmed the impact of the cyclone on the State.

Special Relief commissioner P K Mohapatra advised the farmers to keep the harvested crops covered in the yard. He said there is no need to panic about it as the system might not have any impact on Odisha and may move towards Bangladesh as per the prediction of IMD.
