Crocodile gets hooked in fishing net!

Bhadrak: Villagers of Chudamani Nandapur in Bhadrak district were terrified when some locals netted a crocodile while fishing in a village river today.

According to sources, when some villagers were catching fish in Gamei river near the village, a crocodile snapped the bait and was hooked on their line. They also found a few crocodile eggs from the water body.

The panicked villagers immediately informed the forest department, following which forest officials recovered the crocodile and the eggs.
