Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: The Kandhamal conjoined twins Jaga-Kalia have been separated during the second phase surgery today at New Delhi AIIMS, informed Odisha Health minister Pratap Jena. The phase II cranial separation surgery of the twins began today at AIIMS, New Delhi at around 9 am. The surgery is likely to take 12 to 13 more hours.

Further commenting on the surgery, Jena said the health condition of Jaga and Kalia is stable.
