Cobra battalion jawan commits suicide

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a jawan of the 202 Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (Cobra) has allegedly committed suicide by shooting self with his service rifle at Sunabeda in Koraput district.

The deceased has been identified as Shankar Prasad of New Delhi.

The exact reason for Prasad resorting to such extreme is still unclear. However, an inquiry has started into the incident.
