Bhubaneswar: Practical exams of Plus II courses have been rescheduled by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha and will now begin from January 29.
“As vehicles carrying question papers could not reach exam centres due to the state-wide bandh observed by political parties today, the Practical exam has been rescheduled to begin from January 29,” said Prabodh Panda, Deputy Examination Controller of the CHSE.
The exams will continue till February 8.
Earlier, the exams were scheduled to start from January 25.
Meanwhile, the theory examinations will begin as scheduled earlier from March 6 and will conclude on March 29.
Theory examinations for integrated vocational subjects will start from March 21 and end on March 29.
The council, this year, has increased the number of examination centres to 1,110 from 1,007 keeping in view the rise in student enrolments.
The Council has also decided to set up another sub-centre in Bhubaneswar, at ITER, taking the total number of sub-centres to four.
