The sangh also demanded that the central investigating agency should probe the money trail of the companies involved in money circulation business. They alleged the CBI is being controlled by BJP remotely and the chit-fund probe has been derailed due to the bonhomie between BJP and BJD.

The sangh wanted the CBI to disclose the links between chit-fund firms and minister Sanjay Das Burma.

A member of the sangh said on condition of anonymity; “The Opposition is also not raising the chit-fund issue in the Assembly and making its stand clear, thereby contributing to the slow pace of the probe.”

“Though AT chief Pradeep Sethi, in his statement recorded under 161 of CrPC, had said that Pajero was given to Dasburma, why was the minister not called for questioning?” he asked.

The sangh also presented a memorandum to the CBI officials and said it would continue its protest until the CBI discloses the links between ministers and chit-fund scam in public.
