CBI arrests a Director of Swastik India chit fund company

New Delhi: CBI on Friday arrested a Director of Swastik India, a chit fund company in connection with its probe in the scam.

Manoranjan Nanda was arrested by the agency in connection with alleged duping of people by his company Swastik India in Odisha, CBI sources said.

The agency has arrested three other Directors of the company in January which included company's main promoter Ranjan Das.

CBI sources said Nanda's role had been under the lens of the agency for quite some time.
