Caught on camera: inebriated doctor creates ruckus in Malkangiri hospital

Malkangiri: At a time when poor health services in rural pockets still remain a major concern, a doctor coming to hospital in a drunken state has shocked all.

The incident was reported from Malkangiri yesterday.

According to reports, doctor Shrimaya Mishra was caught on camera coming in a drunken state to duty and creating a ruckus at the district headquarters hospital.

Tension prevailed at the hospital after few patients and their attendants brought negligence in treatment charges against the inebriated doctor who later created further problems.

The doctor also admitted to have come to the hospital after consuming alcohol. Later, he was sent back home by the authorities following tension on the hospital premises due to such misconduct.
