Bus in every 4 minutes in Bhubaneswar soon

Bhubaneswar: Denizens of the smart city Bhubaneswar will have a bus every four minutes for fulfilment of their needs of public transport, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Commissioner Krishan Kumar today after a meeting of the Empowered Committee of Infrastructure (ECI) chaired by Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi.

ECI approved the plan to add 200 new buses to the existing fleet of 110 city buses. The new fleet will have 50 AC buses.

The AC and non-AC buses on a route will run alternatively one after the other, said Kumar.
