Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Friday uploaded the modified results of Matric examination on www.indiaresults.com and announced within seven days it would release fresh marksheets after rechecking subjective papers. Apart from this, the BSE set up a helpline number to address any grievances regarding the result.

“New marksheets will be uploaded on the result website next week after conducting a thorough verification,” said BSE president DP Nanda.

If the revised marksheets uploaded today fail to satisfy students and guardians, they can further register their complaints by calling BSE helpline 0671-2415484.

The helpline facility will be available for seven days and function on all working days between 10am and 5pm, added Nanda.

Earlier in the day, tension prevailed in the BSE office campus after members of Democratic Student Organisation (DSO) fought with police personnel while trying to enter the office. The situation turned violent when the protesters started pelting stones at the security forces in which 10 people including five cops were injured.
