Body of woman found in Rourkela, murder suspected

Rourkela: Body of a woman was found in a hedge near Tara Tarini Temple in Sector 6 of Rourkela today.

The body of woman was found with face covered with blood and it is suspected that she was bludgeoned to death.

A scooter was also found parked near the dead body. Police have reached the spot and initiated a probe.

"Preliminary investigation suggests that she is a married woman but we have to ascertain her identity. She has been murdered but under what circumstances can only be known after probe," said Rourkela ASP Debi Prasad Dash.
