BJP, Congress pay tributes to Lulu Mohapatra on birth anniversary

Brahmagiri/Bhubaneswar: Both the BJP and Congress paid tributes to late Lalatendu Bidyadhara Mohapatra alias Lulu Mohapatra on his birth anniversary today.

The 54th birth anniversary of the late Congress leader was observed at Gadarodang in Brahmagiri in presence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, State BJP vice president Samir Mohanty and other BJP leaders.

Family members of Lulu including daughter Upasana Mohapatra were present at the function during which a statue of the departed leader was unveiled.

Similarly, Congress leaders of the State observed the birth anniversary of Lulu on the premises of Capital High School in Bhubaneswar.

Congress' Odisha in-charge Subhankar Sarkar, senior Congress leader Niranjan Patnaik, Anant Sethi and other party activists paid homage to the departed leader.
