Biramitrapur MLA’s son charged with rape

Rourkela: Biramitrapur MLA George Tirkey’s son, Rajesh was charged with rape on the pretext of marriage by a girl.

The incident came to fore after a girl lodged a complaint with the Rourkela Mahila Police.

As per reports, police have registered a case under sections 376 and 294 of IPC and launched an investigation.

Meanwhile, MLA George Tirkey said he will make his son surrender as he has full faith on the judicial system.
